Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Animal Communication?
Animal communication is the transfer of words, pictures, feelings, sensations from mind to mind. An intuitive connection. Many of us have actually experienced this type of connection without realizing and put it down to coincidence. Have you ever thought about someone and then they call or you see them out and about? Have you ever completed someone's sentence or thought about the same thing at the same time? Have you ever known who was calling without looking at the phone? Have you just known or could sense that someone was in an off mood? These are all forms of a mind to mind, intuitive connection. With our animal companions, have you ever just felt the love from your animal? Are there times when you can sense or just know when your animal isn't feeling well? Did you just know when your animal needed something, like a drink or to go outside, without any physical cues? These are forms of animal communication. A mind to mind, heart to heart, intuitive connection.

How Do You Work?
I specialize in offering sessions remotely and prefer to work with a picture of the animal. I mostly hear what the animal is saying, yes the words your animal says. While I do receive pictures, feelings, sensations, I mainly receive auditory. I prefer not to know any details about what's going on with an animal before I connect with them. I prefer to approach each session without any preconceived ideas, so I can be as clear of a translator as possible for the animal and offer the best session I can at that time. I often start a new session by allowing the animal to tell me about themselves and who they are, then we get to the specific questions you have. I end every session with allowing the animal to share whatever they like.
What If I'm Skeptical?
A certain level of skepticism is healthy and okay. I do understand, respect and honor where you are coming from. My position is not to convince or persuade anyone. I ask that those that want to work with me have an open mind and heart to the process and are ready and open to hearing any messages their animal wants to share.
Can You Connect With Those Animals That Have Passed?
Yes, absolutely. Connecting with animals that are in-spirit uses the same techniques used with animals that are still in their physical bodies. In-spirit sessions can be very healing, can provide peace, comfort, and closure.
What Kind Of Questions Can Be Asked?
Really anything! Animals are very knowledgeable. Animal communication can help tap into the depth and give you a better understanding of them. Some topics and questions can include:
General - Do you like your food? Do you like your name?
Health - Do you have any pain or discomfort? What can I do to make you more comfortable?
Behavior - When you do/did ___, why do/did you do that? How can I help you change this behavior?
End of Life - How will I know you are ready to leave? What can I do to make you feel better?
In-spirit - Did I make the right decision? Are you ok now?
People ask for advice and some might have spiritual questions as well. The list is endless. The thoughtful, caring and warmhearted messages from the animals can be life-changing for so many! A sample list of questions will be provided when requesting a session.
Can You Tell My Animal To Stop Doing A Certain Behavior?
Animals are very much like humans, they have free will. I can't make your animal change any more than you can make your child change. My approach to behavioral and training challenges is to find out the why. It's extremely helpful to understand the why, as every situation is different. Sometimes there is a deeper emotional reason, sometimes the issue isn't with them but stems from things like their people, diet, situation, training. It's important to learn what their point of view is and then you and I can work together to help negotiate solutions.
Can You Help My Animal That Has Health Issues?
While I do not diagnose, prescribe or treat medical conditions, animal communication can be a helpful tool and a piece of the puzzle to help your medical provider. Your animal can describe and show me how its body feels, what it thinks makes the issue better or worse and what possible treatments would be helpful.
Do You Offer Lost Animal Sessions?
While I have helped with lost animals in the past, these cases can be extremely emotional, draining and time consuming for all involved. For these reasons I do not offer lost animal sessions. Here is a link for other communicators that help with lost animals (click on the lost animal resources section once on the link page).
What Can I Expect With My First Session?
Every session is different and unique. You will come away knowing more about your animal than you did before. I may confirm and validate what you already thought (which can be very helpful in itself), you may discover things that you didn't know, I might shed light on challenges, or offer different ideas about other avenues to try. It does help to keep an open mind to whatever comes through and not to expect a session to go a certain way. I translate the animals messages exactly as they come through, sometimes this may mean a person might not hear what they expected or wanted to hear.
Do You Offer In-Person Or Phone/Zoom Sessions?
I specialize in offering sessions 'offline', which means I do not connect with your animal in-person or over the phone/zoom. I connect with your animal from my home base with a picture that you email or mail and send the transcript of the session afterwards via email. Distance is not an issue in animal communication. Many think that a communication session would be more successful meeting in person, but that isn't always the case. In fact, sometimes it's easier and far more accurate to communicate remotely because distractions like an animal wanting attention during, or barking, or being nervous meeting someone new aren't an issue. Being able to focus solely on the animal allows for a deeper conversation and obtains better results for me. Every communicator works differently and has their own way of being the best translator they can be.
